Open2Next ("we," "us," "our") operates a signal-driven job-matching platform connecting candidates and recruiters. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Account information: name, email address, phone number (optional), and how you signed up (email/password, magic link, or Google).
Candidate signal: target role, compensation expectations, location and remote preferences, skills, years of experience, availability, work authorization status, and your resume (if you upload one). Your resume is parsed to extract structured signal but stays private — it is never shown to a recruiter until you both mutually agree to connect.
Recruiter signal: company name, size, industry, your title, and the job descriptions you post. Job descriptions are never shown to candidates before a match — only the structured signal extracted from them is.
Usage data: matches, messages exchanged after a mutual reveal, intro requests, and hiring outcomes you log (interview, offer, hire).
Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
Technical data: the IP address and timestamp associated with accepting our Terms of Service, used solely as a consent record.
We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
To provide the matching service itself (scoring candidates against roles), to let you communicate once you've mutually agreed to connect, to process payments, to send you transactional emails (match notifications, reveal confirmations), to prevent fraud and abuse (see our trust & safety measures below), and to comply with legal obligations.

We screen recruiter signups to keep the network for actual hiring, not sales outreach. Either party can report a match; reports are reviewed by a human, and an account found to violate our terms can be suspended, which immediately blocks new matches, messages, intro requests, and purchases on that account.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we immediately remove your personally identifying information (name, contact details, resume) while retaining anonymized, aggregate data needed to preserve the integrity of matches and conversations the other party is legitimately part of.
